One of the major goals of our administration is to achieve a better dialogue with the campus community through the use of social media. Our website is still under construction, but at the moment we have four active avenues of communication up and running (the blog being the central location for information about ASUPS)
1. Facebook
2. Twitter
3. YouTube
4. Blog
At the end of each month this semester—September, October and November—we will take all the students who are either following the ASUPS Twitter account or who have liked the ASUPS Facebook Page and randomly draw one student who will receive an iPod nano (if you have done both, you will have double the chance of winning). Our goal is to increase our followership in these social media so that we can keep the student body better informed about what is going on not only within ASUPS, but across the entire campus. It only takes a few clicks, and we believe that it should greatly improve our ability to serve the student body.
Please let us know if there is anything you want done on campus. Your input—whether complimentary or constructive—is always listened to and always appreciated. This is your student body government; take the time and let us know how we can better represent you.
